022: Bringing Investing to the Masses + How to Make an Offer Stand Out in a Competitive Seller’s Market with Moe Vela and Andrew Ragusa

In this episode of Saving With Steve, host Steve Sexton is joined by Moe Vela, former White House Senior Advisor and businessman, and Andrew Ragusa, a Licensed Real Estate Broker, Sellers Representative Specialist, Accredited Buyer Representative, Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource Specialist, and the CEO of REMI Realty.

The power of crowd funding and shifting the status quo of investment culture on Wall Street and around the world was exemplified in the surge of GameStop stock in January. But, the door hasn’t always been and won’t always be open for average investors, denying opportunities to create wealth and equity for the majority of the world.

My first guest today, former White House Senior Advisor and businessman, Moe Vela, joins us to discuss how his new show, Unicorn Hunters, is bringing investing to the masses, how it can equalize the playing field when it applies to wealth creation, and what people should know if they’re going to invest in the pre-IPO future at an affordable level. Unicorn Hunters is a show dedicated to democratizing access to investment opportunities in scalable and emerging startups around the world, and provides anyone who joins the Unicorn Hunters Club with the chance to invest in pre-IPO future Unicorns who have a compelling investor value proposition.

The U.S. economy has continued to rise after reaching a devastating low last year, and housing prices are climbing to new heights as well. According to Redfin.com, this is the first time recorded in history that typical homes are selling above their list prices. The median home sale price jumped up to an all-time high of 17%, and the sale-to-list price ratio is now 100.1%.

My second guest, Andrew Ragusa, is a Licensed Real Estate Broker, Sellers Representative Specialist, Accredited Buyer Representative, Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource Specialist, and the CEO of REMI Realty in Plainview, NY.
