109: The State of Real Estate with Glen Henderson

In this episode of Saving With Steve, host Steve Sexton is joined by Glen Henderson, a Broker Associate and Real Estate Expert with the Premier Homes Team who has been helping people buy and sell real estate for decades in San Diego, California.

Today's guest, Glen Henderson, joins us to discuss the current state of the real estate market and shares his 5 components for selling your house for the most amount of money, even in a declining market. He also talks about what we can expect for the rest of 2023, and I also share how to limit taxes in retirement.

Glen Henderson is a third generation San Diego native and can’t imagine living anywhere besides sunny San Diego. Glen attended San Diego State University, where he majored in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. Upon graduation in 2003 Glen began his career in real estate and mortgages.

During the first years of his career, Glen worked full time as a REALTOR® and Mortgage Banker. His background in finance coupled with his experience in both real estate and mortgages has helped him excel in his real estate career. In 2009, Glen obtained his broker’s license and became a partner in Silvercrest Realty Group.

During the most recent crash in the real estate market, Glen and his partner Shannon have built one of the leading short sale teams in San Diego, successfully helping hundreds of homeowners avoid foreclosure.

Today Glen manages his real estate business, is the broker of Silvercrest Realty Group, has authored the book “Avoiding Foreclosure: How NOT To Go Broke Saving Your Home," co-hosts a weekly real estate show on KCBQ and KPRZ, and has become a trainer/coach.

Through his determination and drive, Glen has continued to build his business year over year, and has been able to assist hundreds of homeowners in the purchase or sale of their home.

"It is a privilege to be part of one of the most important financial decisions a client can ever make, and I take that responsibility very seriously."
